Peanut burger (coated groundnut) is a nutritious and healthful snack that everyone enjoys. If you like groundnuts, you’ll adore the peanut burger. They are significantly superior than store-bought since you can customize the spices to your liking.

The groundnut may be use raw, roasted, or fried, according to your preference. However, it is preferable to roast or fry to remove the skin. Before coating with flour, it’s normally easy to peel back the brownish skin. 

How to Make Peanut Burger

  • 2 cups raw groundnut
  • ½ tsp grated nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup of flour
  • 2 tbsp powdered milk flavouring
  • 2 medium eggs
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla liquid taste
  • sufficient vegetable oil for frying
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt


Step1:  You may use roasted groundnuts that have already been roasted (peanuts). However, if you have raw peanuts on hand, you may roast or fry them yourself. To add flavour, I begin the frying process by soaking the peanuts in hot water for 15 minutes, followed by draining and drying the peanuts for 1 hour. Next, I pour a generous amount of table salt on a pan and fry (roast) the peanuts in the salt until they are golden brown. Place the peanuts on a dish and set them aside to cool.

Step2: In a mixing basin, combine the eggs, salt, and sugar. Whisk everything together.

Step3: Pour the roasted peanuts into a larger mixing basin. Toss the peanuts with 1 tablespoon of the whisked egg. Then, pour 1 tablespoon of flour and toss to combine.

Step4: Repeat the procedure until the flour and eggs are depleted. This will result in finely coated peanuts.

Step5: In a pan, heat the oil and fry the coated peanuts till golden brown.

Step6: Your wonderful crispy peanut burger (coated peanut) snack is now ready.

Step7: Serve with a glass of cold drink and enjoy!
